At Flatirons Habitat for Humanity, we know that the families in your communities and around the world have the potential to stand on their own. All they sometimes need is a hand-up - a way to help themselves so that they can build that better life.

There is no typical Habitat family. The families who partner with us decide to build and improve places to call home come from a variety of backgrounds. We've partnered with teachers, office workers, artists, handymen, medical professionals and more. These families are selected based on their level of need for better housing, their willingness to partner with us and work alongside volunteers, and their ability to pay off an affordable mortgage.

When families partner with Habitat, they start down a new path - one with far fewer barriers to a better, healthier, and more financially stable life.

Homeowners play a hands-on role in eliminating these barriers, from completing sweat equity to attending financial education and budget planning classes. Becoming a Habitat homeowner is hard work - but we and our partner families understand that a home is a far-reaching investment. It's a strong foundation on which our partner families can grow and thrive.
