Book Stocker Volunteer

Purpose of Position:

To Stock shelves with sorted books as needed.

Responsibilities /Duties:

• Place colored stickers on books as they are being shelved to identify what month they are shelved.

• To remove books that have been on the sales floor for three months to increase sales be adding new inventory.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read titles and sort books into categories.

Commitment Expected:

• Commit to one day a week from 10am-2pm or 2pm6pm for 1-3 months.

Training:

• Will spend time with experienced volunteer or assistant manager on procedures.

Other:

• Position begins immediately.

• Reports to Store Manager/ Assistant Manager.
