Merchandising Volunteer

Purpose of Position:

To present the merchandise in the store in an appealing manner to increase sales.

Responsibilities /Duties:

• Arrange items in store to attract more buyers.

• Make signs as needed for displays.

• Come up with different floor plans to increase sales.

• Arrange furniture room to attract more sales.

Qualifications:

• Retail experience would be helpful but not necessary.

Commitment Expected:

• Commit to one day a week for 1-3 months.

Training:

• Manager or Assistant Manager will spend time with volunteer explaining current layout and information on sales per area.

Other:

• Position begins immediately.

• Reports to Store Manager/ Assistant Manager.
