Clothing Organizer Volunteer

Purpose of Position:

To sort donated clothing and fill clothing racks on sales floor.

Responsibilities /Duties:

• Inspect donated clothing and determine what is saleable and what is not.

• Place sorted clothing in appropriate bin or hang as needed.

Qualifications:

• Retail experience would be helpful but not necessary.

• Ability to judge what is in good saleable condition to what is not saleable and out of date.

• Have the ability to work with other volunteers to accomplish this task.

Commitment Expected:

• Commit to one day a week for 4 hours for 1-3 months.

Training:

• Will train volunteer on established guidelines for clothing donations.

Other:

• Position begins immediately.

• Reports to Store Manager/ Assistant Manager.
