Small Appliance Tester Volunteer

Purpose of Position:

To assure that small appliances are in good working condition before selling them.

Responsibilities /Duties:

• Test donated small appliances to make sure they are in good working condition.

• Clean and price saleable items.

Qualifications:

• Ability to test and do minor repairs as necessary to small appliances.

• Experience with working with electrical items helpful but not necessary.

Commitment Expected:

• Commit to one day a week from 10am-2pm or 2pm6pm for 1-3 months.

Training:

• Will spend time with experienced volunteer to observe pricing and acceptability of items to sell.

Other:

• Position begins immediately.

• Reports to Store Manager/ Assistant Manager.
