Pricing Housewares Volunteer

Purpose of Position:

To clean and price housewares that is donated to store to increase sales.

Responsibilities /Duties:

• Price dishes, nick-knacks and collectibles that are donated to store.

• Assure items are in good condition with no breaks or chips.

• Clean items and do minor repairs as needed.

Qualifications:

• Retail experience would be helpful but not necessary.

• Someone who shops thrift stores or has prior experience working at a thrift store would be helpful.

• Knowledge of antiques and their value would be helpful.

Commitment Expected:

• Commit to one day a week for 1-3 months.

Training:

• Assistant Manager will spend time with volunteer explaining pricing guidelines and general procedures.

Other:

• Position begins immediately.

• Reports to Store Manager/ Assistant Manager.
