Rick Gutierrez serves as Assistant ReStore Manager at Flatirons Habitat for Humanity, where he helps oversee daily retail operations and supports the ReStore's mission of generating funding for affordable homeownership throughout Boulder and Broomfield Counties. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience as a hardware manager, Rick brings extensive knowledge of home improvement products, customer service, inventory management, and team leadership to the organization.

Before joining Flatirons Habitat, Rick built a career in machining and mechanical maintenance, developing a strong technical foundation and problem-solving mindset. His combination of mechanical expertise and retail leadership helps ensure the ReStore operates efficiently while providing an exceptional experience for customers, donors, volunteers, and staff. Rick is committed to promoting sustainability through the reuse of donated building materials and helping advance Habitat's mission of creating affordable housing opportunities for local families.

Rick has earned trade school certifications throughout his career and has volunteered with the Fine Arts Center in Colorado Springs, reflecting his commitment to giving back to the community and supporting local organizations.

Outside of work, Rick enjoys camping, fishing, and spending quality time with his family. He values the opportunity to connect with others through the outdoors and appreciates the sense of community that both his work and personal life provide.
