Luke Holwald
Assistant Factory Manager
Luke Holwald serves as the Assistant Factory Manager at Flatirons Habitat for Humanity's BoulderMOD Factory, where he helps oversee the production of energy-efficient, permanently affordable homes while supporting workforce development and community engagement initiatives.
With nearly a decade of experience at Flatirons Habitat for Humanity, Luke brings extensive operational and leadership expertise to the organization. Before joining the BoulderMOD Factory in 2026, he served as Manager of the Flatirons ReStore in Broomfield, where he led daily operations, strengthened systems and processes, and expanded volunteer and community engagement opportunities. Under his leadership, the ReStore continued its mission of providing affordable home improvement materials through the resale of donated building supplies while generating critical funding to support Habitat's affordable housing programs.
In his current role, Luke applies his strengths in operations management, inventory control, process improvement, and problem-solving to help streamline factory production and support Flatirons Habitat's innovative modular homebuilding model.
Luke earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a minor in Communications from Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin. A Colorado resident since 2001, he previously worked for Qwest Communications and coached wrestling at Mullen High School before joining Flatirons Habitat for Humanity in 2016. Throughout his tenure, he has remained committed to advancing Habitat's mission of creating affordable homeownership opportunities and strengthening the communities it serves.
Outside of work, Luke enjoys exploring Colorado's outdoors through hiking, camping, wildlife viewing, and motorcycle adventures. He also loves spending time with his wife and their German Shepherd, Jericho, who always accompanies them on their travels.
