Featured Partner: RSS Insurance

August 5, 2019

For over 50 years, RSS Insurance has run its business on the principles of integrity, professionalism, honesty, generosity, community and teamwork. These core values shine brightly throughout their work and have allowed them to become prominent community leaders.

Each quarter of the year, RSS Insurance selects a charity to feature and support. Their support extends beyond financial contributions, as they also make a great effort to invest their time with the organization whenever an opportunity presents itself.

Flatirons Habitat for Humanity is grateful to have been chosen as RSS Insurance’s featured charity during the months of April, May and June. RSS has named FHFH as one of their quarterly charities for the past four years, and continue to provide volunteerism, donations and advocacy for affordable housing within the community. Since 2016, RSS has raised more than $3,300 for Flatirons Habitat through its referral program. Their charitable spirit has encouraged other companies to partner with Flatirons Habitat as well - this year, for example, Four Seasons Heating donated $200 to FHFH through RSS’s referral program.

In addition to financial contributions, RSS team members have been consistent and valued volunteers at our local build sites over the past four years. On May 6, they sent volunteers to one of FHFH’s Boulder construction sites in Palo Park. Their generous work and enthusiasm for our mission makes them a pleasure to collaborate with.

Partnering with FHFH, RSS Insurance helps highlight the affordable housing crisis, providing support for the overall mission of our organization. They are spreading awareness and encouraging the community to take action by featuring FHFH on their blog, volunteering for builds and collecting money from community members to donate. We are so appreciative of their partnership. Click here to learn more about them.
