A big welcome to our new AmeriCorps National Members!

This week we're welcoming two new AmeriCorps National members to our team. Zach Payne and Jorge Lehman-Gonzalez will act as Construction Crew Leaders for the next year, overseeing operations on the construction site as we move forward with several new builds.

Jorge comes to Colorado from Atlanta, GA. He wanted to take a year off to travel before college, but also wanted to spend the year learning, working, and making a difference. An AmeriCorps program with Flatirons Habitat for Humanity seemed like the perfect fit. Jorge is excited to explore Colorado as well as gain experience working at a non-profit.

Zach is originally from Colorado, and has lived and worked in Westminster since graduating from Colorado State in 2013. He wanted to join AmeriCorps to give back to the community that he grew up in and to learn more about working in nonprofits. He's looking forward to working with his hands on the construction site, as well as working directly with volunteers.
