Bridges Out of Poverty training

Saturday, April 10th, from 9:00am to 4:00 pm in Louisville. Flatirons Habitat for Humanity is working to ensure that our partner families have the resources they need in order to use homeownership as a springboard to a more economically stable life. A Bridges out of Poverty presentation provides aninside look at what life is like for someone living in poverty in our community. This training educated participants about how communities can develop the resources of people in poverty through creating relationships of mutual respect among people from economically diverse backgrounds. Bridges out of Poverty training is the first step for those who want to volunteer as coaches for our partner families through our Key from the Community program. To register or to receive more information, contact Ellen Salvador at 303-447-3787 ext 231 or esalvador@flatironshabitat.org.
