Bridges out of Poverty Training - July 17th:
Flatirons Habitat, in partnership with the St. Vrain Habitat, are proud to offer a Bridges out of Poverty Training on July 17th at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Longmont from 9:00am to 4:00pm in Longmont. The training is an eye-opening experience into the lives of those in our community living in poverty and is part of our Keys from the Community Program whose overarching goal is to build relationships with our partner families to help them achieve economic stability by serving as a Coach. International Day of Prayer - September 19
Sunday, September 19 2010 (at your place of worship): Habitat for Humanity's International Day of Prayer is a time when the entire Habitat for Humanity faith community is urged to come together in prayer, at their place of workship, for those in need of shelter. The Day of Prayer began in 1983 to make housing a matter of conscience. The intent was to place in the hearts and minds and souls of people everywhere the idea that poverty housing is unacceptable.

An Introduction to Habitat [Tour and Presentation]
Fridays from 11:45 am - 12:30pm at Habitat Northfield Village build site at 47th and Jay Road in north Boulder. Come see Flatirons Habitat in action! You'll have a chance
to come out to the current build site for four permanently affordable Habitat homes, and see volunteers in action.
At 12:00 pm, you will have an opportunity to hear our presentation called habitat 101 which gives an overview of the affiliate's work in Boulder Valley and Broomfield for more than 15 years.
